Top 10 best healthy and nutritious foods

1) Sweet potatoes:they contain so many nutrients and are one of the best vegetables you can eat. They contain potassium, vitamin C, carotenoids, vitamin A and fiber. Another name for it is – Yam. Try them they are so delicious and sweet in taste even when cooked plain.

2) Citrus fruits:
they have a great taste and are rich in fiber and vitamin C. They are perfect for desert or a snack. Do you know that eating citrus or drinking its juice helps in reducing the risk of stroke? They include wide variety of oranges, Clementine, grapes, lemon and leech lime etc.

3) Eggs:
they contain high amounts of protein, vitamin K, contain benefits of iron, high in folate content, minerals and are good for pregnant women.

4) Nuts:
we know well that they co
ntain high amounts of calories and fat, but we should also know that they contain good fats that are healthy for heart too. Limit them to a handful a day as overall calorie intake is very important. They lower the triglycerides in blood and known to increase good cholesterol at the same time.

6) Salmon (fish):
this fish type contains omega 3 fatty acids which are very essential for heart health. Also make a note that wild caught salmons have less contaminant when compared to farmed ones.
7) Broccoli: best food and it is like a power house among foods having all nutrients and vitamins. They contain vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin A, folic acid and carotenoids. It is good for weight control because they contain good fiber content and they help in making you feel your stomach full. They are also known for disease fighting properties.
dried beans are often more eaten and beans are very good for health. They contain high amounts of fiber and also help in reducing bad cholesterol. Diets with beans may help in reducing the risks of heart attack and also helps in losing weight.
9) Berries:
they are very delicious and good for health too. They are known to be good for aid in memory and also helpful against some types of cancers. There are several types of berries and they are helpful in weight control management by preventing the overeating of sugar in the diet by satisfying a sweet tooth. They are also having low glycemic index, which is a good for diabetics.

10) Kiwi fruit: It is a tasty and small fruit which is full of nutrients and they are rich in potassium, vitamin C, and beta carotene. Rajesh, good sum of of the healthy food items indeed, but only if people try to adhere to it. Generally people tend to forget it after reading it. I strongly suggest to follow it and see the results.
