    A new study shows that college students who are stressed can benefit from Transcendental Meditation that also lowered blood pressure among study participants. High blood pressure begins during younger years. College students at risk for high blood pressure were studied and compared to a control group. After three months, compared to a control group of college students placed on a wait list, students who practiced Transcendental Meditation lowered both their systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings by 6.3 points and 4.0 points respectively.
